About Us

Irene Armesto, Author and Editor in Chief:

Irene has served as both a staff member and a volunteer in several children’s ministries.  Over the past twenty years she has been a drama coach, a creative arts director, a producer, and an author of children’s curriculum, teen dramas for competitions, VBS programs, and has directed everything from small solo dramas to full church holiday musical productions. Her coaching and writings have assisted teens and kids in winning state and national drama competitions.  Her passion is to see God’s Word come to life in a way that will be relatable and inspirational to kids of all ages.  Her goal is to offer leaders of children and teens fun and affordable ways to infuse their services with creativity.  She is excited to have her children partnering with her as she steps out in faith to build this website into something that will glorify God.

Megan Meyer, LLMSW, Blog Author

First and foremost, Christ is the center of Megan’s life.  Megan has been a devout Christian since she was a young child.  She continues to develop her gifts and talents to further God’s kingdom in both her personal and professional life.  Megan received her Social Work degree from Cornerstone University in 2012.  She went on to work in the Child Welfare system for 3 years as a Direct Care Social Worker.   Megan chose to continue her education and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University.  She is married and has two children. She currently works as a Behavior Consultant in a Michigan public school district.  She also provides consultations and support for families of children with special learning needs and volunteers at her church as a youth leader and mentor.

Adam Armesto, Creative Consultant

Adam is a full time college student at Columbia University majoring in Film and Media Studies with a business emphasis.  He has written state award winning short stories and skits for Christian Competitions and has passionately pursued writing since he was in elementary school.  

Alex Armesto, Creative Consultant

Alex is a recent graduate of Otterbein University where he received his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.  He has won several state and national Christian competitions for acting in solo and group dramas. Alex has a passion for the stage and believes we can all work together to “melt the world down and paint with it.”

 

Brandon Blackshear, Website Designer

Brandon is a recent graduate of Columbia University with a major in Psychology and Visual Arts. He has worked in graphic design, marketing and advertising while also pursing freelance photography.
